French Antique Spelter Bust of Jesus Christ 11.3"
Beautifully formed French antique spelter bust of Jesus Christ with the crown of thorns. Dating to the late nineteenth century, this antique bust would originally have been painted in gold, you can still see where some of it remains. This sculpture of Jesus originates from the South of France and would make a beautiful decoration.

Condition: It is in very good antique condition. There is a neat hole in the top, towards the back of the head, possibly from when it was made, or perhaps it had been to form a lamp at some point in it’s life.
