French Antique Cast Iron Planter, Art Nouveau 15.4"
A French antique cast iron planter in the Art Nouveau style, richly decorated with flowing lines and stylised floral motifs. The sculptural design features elegant curves, twin handles, and raised feet, giving the piece a strong architectural presence.
Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, this cast iron jardinière would originally have been used as a garden planter or window box. Today it works beautifully planted with herbs or seasonal flowers, or simply displayed as a decorative antique garden vessel.
The aged iron surface has developed a naturally weathered patina over time, adding depth and character to the intricate relief decoration.
